  Welcome to Virtual University! 

You are just in time...Let's get started!

This is the launching point to get registered and approved for your class for the term. 

To see the list of available courses, click the “Fall I 2010” link in the navigation menu on the left.

To register, click on the
Course Registration button. Select the box next to the course you are registering to, and click the “register“ link at the bottom of the page.

Anytime you have changes to your personal information, click on the eProfile button, then click on Edit at the bottom and fill out the form.  You must also send an email to virtual@uiwtx.edu so we can update our records.

For information on setting up your remote access to the UIW Library, download a necessary student form, or to visit the bookstore's website to order your textbook click on the “Resources” link in the navigation menu on the left.

All new students need to complete the Orientation class which will help you learn how to use the IZIO Program.  For instructions read the Announcement on this page concerning the orientation.

Registration for Fall II begins on Wednesday, August 25th.  
You can view the course offerings for the Fall II 2010 term, by clicking on the Fall II 2010 link to the left. If you have questions about your course selection, contact your academic advisor.

Need a specific course? Register early! Don't wait to the last minute to register, as many courses fill up quickly.

As soon as you have access, go into your course to view your course outline, any announcements placed there for you and to get the information regarding your textbook. Review the Course, Announcements and Textbook information by clicking on the applicable links in the menu bar on the left side of the page in IZIO.

THE DEADLINE FOR ORDERING PRINTED COPIES OF eBOOKS IS 10 CALENDAR DAYS BEFORE THE START OF THE TERM. For the Fall II 2010 term, the deadline for ordering a printed copy of an eBook is September 29th by 2 p.m.  

Student Payment Responsibility *ATTENTION* 
It is the student's responsibility to drop their course within the 100% refund period to avoid assessment of tuition and fees. There will not be a university-initiated drop for non-participation. If you do not plan to attend, you must drop your courses. A $50 administrative fee is applied for all drops from courses offered throught the Virtual University.

FREE Textbooks for all Undergraduate Courses 
Universe Online provides textbooks for all undergraduate students with no additional fees for books. Free textbooks are provided for undergraduate courses taken via the UIW Universe Online and the on-ground Adult Degree Completion Programs (ADCaP).
